The portfolio is all about you having a series of shots around a medium size of 10"x8" in an album or portfolio sleeved book. Sometimes a few extra shots are all that’s needed. Most often it’s used by actors or models that need quality shots of themselves for agents to see and to promote them.  It is all about getting a series of shots that show various sides of them from the classic head shot to the full body shots. These shots may include a number of poses in the case of a model and a number of looks. The actors and models portfolio needs to be kept up to date.

Nowadays ordinary people are beginning to want portfolios for getting work where a few nice pictures can help enhance their CV. Also, more and more people are using computer dating such as face book and even specific dating sites. With so much activity these days on the web a lot of people just want a good picture for emails.
